Mark Rogers is one of Freeport Home Medical Equipment’s longest serving employees. Since November of 2003, he has been the company’s primary driver. Mark delivers products to the entire service area, logging more than 100 miles per day and sometimes double that number.
When asked what he likes best about his job, Mark says, “It’s the different people you meet when out delivering. Many stops are to respiratory clients who I see weekly or bi-weekly basis when I deliver their oxygen cylinders. I like that I can really get to know our customers.” Mark also assists in setting-up equipment for customers such as hospital beds and lift chairs. Maintenance is another important responsibility of Mark’s as he is in charge of the company’s fleet ofvehicles.
A native of Lanark, Mark graduated from Eastland High School. Upon graduation, he worked in his family’s business before joining Freeport Home Medical Equipment.
Mark likes spectator sports – football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and hockey – watching the action on TV and attending area games when he can. When the weather permits, he enjoys golfing. He and his wife, Charlene, have two dogs, a miniature pinscher and a chihuahua.
