Elizabeth Sluiter has worked at Freeport Home Medical Equipment, Inc., since it was founded in 2001. She started working part time during summers and breaks. She joined the company full time in 2005, after graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University. There, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Elizabeth started at FHME ordering products and working in the retail showroom. She was instrumental in setting up the computer side of the business. Elizabeth continues to provide information technology support, as well as taking on the responsibilities of Operations Manager.
According to Elizabeth, “I feel that my job is very rewarding because I believe that we at Freeport Home Medical Equipment do make a difference in people’s lives.”
Elizabeth was born and raised in German Valley. In her free time, she likes outdoor activities and antiquing. Elizabeth is very artistic, likes interior design, and enjoys acquiring furnishings for her home.
